What to Expect
Our cooking events take place at The Skript Kitchen in Vancouver, a street-level, collaborative space designed for groups of 2 to 34 participants. Choose from our curated recipe selection and we’ll take care of sourcing ingredients and providing all the necessary cooking equipment. Many recipes can be customized to be vegan or vegetarian, with gluten-free options available depending on the dish. Alcohol service package service can be arranged upon request.

Founder & Registered Dietitian
Renée Chan, founder of The Skript Kitchen, is a Registered Dietitian certified in both Canada and the United States. She also owns Ah Nui Asian Foods and Horny Co Sauce. Renée refined her culinary expertise at leading New York restaurants, gained hands-on experience on organic farms in France, and completed a residency in Hong Kong to further explore Chinese cooking.

She is the founder of Galloway's Wholesome Foods. Growing up in an Ismaili Gujarati family in East Africa, she developed a deep passion for wholesome, flavorful cooking that continues to inspire her work today.

He later honed his craft in Spain with renowned innovators such as Juan Mari Arzak and Andoni Luis Aduriz, shaping his creative and disciplined approach to cuisine. Chef Bruno Feldeisen is a French chef, restaurateur, cookbook author, and television personality best known as a judge on The Great Canadian Baking Show. He built an international culinary career working at acclaimed restaurants and luxury hotels including the Four Seasons in New York and Vancouver. He has appeared on numerous Food Network programs, earned multiple James Beard Award nominations, and previously taught at the Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts in Vancouver. Beyond the kitchen, Bruno is a passionate advocate for mental health awareness through his work with Anxiety Canada and supports many community organizations across British Columbia.

From Guadalajara, he was raised in his grandmother’s kitchen, where he learned that food is rooted in culture, tradition, and connection. His journey took an unexpected turn from certified diamond appraiser to a dishwasher in Canada, working his way up to managing kitchens, owning restaurants, and ultimately becoming a chef. Today, he teaches hands-on cooking classes focused on creating memorable food experience with plenty of laughs along the way.

Kiernan Nichols and Trevor Pavle are co-founders of Savora Kitchen, a Vancouver-based culinary company offering hands-on cooking classes, small-group food experiences, restaurant consulting, and private event and wedding catering in a welcoming, modern setting.
Chef Trevor draws inspiration from British Columbia’s coastal abundance, crafting Pacific Northwest–inspired menus grounded in classic Italian technique and delivering restaurant-quality dining in intimate environments.
Chef Kiernan brings a global perspective shaped by culinary work across Spain, Sweden, Canada, and the United States, creating striking seasonal dishes that highlight the beauty of British Columbia’s exceptional produce.
