Make Samosas (Chicken & Vegan Fillings) - With Annie M & Renée (GF Option Available) - Charity Event for Karibu Canada

Learn how to make fillings and wrappers from scratch. We will wrap them and cook them along with an easy coconut chutney. 
During the event we will serve you a kidney bean curry with cumin scented basmati rice and a side katchumber salad.

Intersection Wine has graciously donated their selection of wines to be served with dinner.

The Script Kitchen will provide a gift of Homemade Jam to take home for participants.

After two years, the Canadian Embassy recently approved Karibu Canada’s sponsorship of refugees from Syria via Lebanon. The house in North Vancouver is awaiting their arrival in a few weeks but the Karibu team still needs help with furniture, mattresses, kitchen staples and more.

Another  group of five friends is also sponsoring a Yemeni family of 8 which has taken 3 years. The family is arriving March 6^th. They have already secured a house in Burnaby but have to support the family for their first year. The house is furnished but household and kitchen items will be much appreciated.

Both families also will need monetary donations.

Proceeds from the cooking class will go to both families.
